"With prolonged drought and our fire season growing in length and intensity every year, our forests in Northern Arizona are being impacted by the climate crises at an accelerated rate. One of the most effective measures we can take as a nation, or state, is to cut carbon pollution. I’m calling on our administration to enact the strongest standards possible to cut climate pollution from power plants. With a strong mountain of support behind these protections, we can make a difference in the fight against a warming climate and restore healthy and resilient forests to Northern Arizona."
