“For far too long, dirty power plants have spewed pollution into Georgia communities, harming our health and fueling the climate crisis. I’m proud to add my name to the mountain of support to urge the Biden administration to finalize the strongest version of its standards to cut climate pollution from power plants by early next year. As a nurse, scientist, and educator I have seen evidence of how the climate crisis is already threatening the health and livelihoods of Georgians. Stronger standards will protect our health and our communities and also accelerate the necessary transition to clean energy. Our climate can’t wait!”
