"Enough is enough. As a faith leader, I believe all lives matter because of the inherent creation given by our creator which is good. Despite the intention of creation, minorities, low-income, and indigenous populations frequently bear a disproportionate burden of environmental harms and adverse health outcomes—including the development of heart or lung diseases, such as asthma and bronchitis—increased susceptibility to respiratory and cardiac symptoms, greater numbers of emergency room visits and hospital admissions, and premature deaths because of their proximity to power plants. This impedes the overall pursuit of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness in shaping to sustain the Beloved Community."
