“Strong measures to green the electric grid are enormously important for preserving a safe climate for the next generation. As an educator at Tufts University, this is an absolute top priority issue. In university communities, we are working on ways of transforming our work and lifestyles to fit a carbon budget, while still preserving the good we do in the world. These efforts need support at the federal level, especially on greening the electric grid. We are struggling to do our part, but we need the federal government to also act courageously.”
