“I support the strongest standard on carbon emissions from power plants, alternatively called the Cut Climate Pollution Plan, from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), because I strongly support President Biden’s plan to cut carbon emissions. We can see from this year’s extreme weather that climate change is accelerating, and we need strong regulation to change this before it’s too late. This standard will do that. Our organization is already working towards being carbon neutral. However, we need strong leadership from the government to make sure that power plants and other industries strive towards becoming carbon neutral. I urge the EPA to hold all states accountable for the pollution that is being caused.”
