“As a livestock owner in Nevada, I am deeply troubled by the growing impact of climate change on my animals. With each passing year, the scorching heat and unrelenting droughts make it increasingly challenging to keep my horses healthy and hydrated. The lack of water and poor air quality is taking a toll on their physical and mental well-being, severely impacting their quality of life. We must immediately establish strong standards to reduce carbon emissions from power plants in the Silver State and beyond. Doing so can mitigate the disastrous effects of climate change and ensure a better, healthier future for our precious animals and our communities.”
