“Cutting climate pollution from power plants would benefit the health of all people in the US, brown and black and white–and millions other living beings as well.  No human community is an island.  We live within a web of life, and woe betide us if that web is torn by greedy CEOs and politicians–there is no going back. Heartbreakingly, kids know this. I just spent the weekend with a charming nine-year old friend who burst into tears several times at the damage to animal and bird and fish habitats where he lives, and the disappearing beauty of his world.”
