“The United States must move quickly to reduce greenhouse gases in order to stave off the most extreme consequences of climate change.  We are already experiencing extreme weather that will only get worse if we continue to fail to act.  In addition, the worst impacts of climate change will be felt by the people who have contributed to it the least, which is a terrible injustice.  I urge the US government and EPA to make the strongest possible plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from power plants.”
