“I support the strongest standard on carbon emissions from power plants, alternatively called the Cut Climate Pollution Plan, from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), because we are on the knife edge of possibilities right now. There is no more time to assess and test and waffle on the climate emergency. Policy plays a key role in determining our survival and ability to thrive on the planet. This standard will help to turn the tide on pollution that impacts human health and so many other environmental factors. We need the EPA to lead the way by setting the strongest standards possible. I urge you to consider the very critical junction at which we stand and take the road which leads us to great health, lowered emissions, and which will help pave the way to renewable energy, and to pass these standards.”
