“I support the strongest standard on carbon emissions from power plants, alternatively called the Cut Climate Pollution Plan, from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) because fossil fuel-fired power plants are one of the largest sources of carbon pollution driving climate change. The evidence showing the profound risks to the health and lives of all Americans from climate change is building. As a nurse, I am already seeing the very real effects of climate change on health in my community and the communities I work with.”
