"Doctors and health professionals are already seeing health problems from climate change: heat illness, heart and lung problems made worse by higher temperatures, disasters such as extreme storms, wildfires, and floods that cause displacement, trauma, and PTSD. Climate change is causing health problems now. We need strong standards for power plants to keep it from getting worse. This will also make the air cleaner, and there will be fewer heart attacks, strokes, asthma attacks, and other problems caused by air pollution."
