“I support the strongest standard on carbon emissions from power plants, alternatively called the Cut Climate Pollution Plan, from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), because the neighborhood which I represent and other communities of color are often disproportionately impacted by the effects of carbon emissions and other pollutants. This standard will help support a healthier living environment for the most vulnerable in our communities as well as improve health outcomes for all. I urge you to support the EPA’s proposed plan for both the environment and the health and safety of our communities.”
