Clean Energy is safe, clean and popular. Americans want cleaner sources for their energy. And with renewable energy becoming cheaper than fossil fuel energy, there is no reason not to accelerate America’s transition to clean energy.

EXCEPT! Big polluters want to keep you on fossil fuels? Why? Because it’s good for them, as in good for their profits. They care not about what you breathe, what you eat, what you drink, as long as they can reap hundreds of billions of dollars in profits each fiscal quarter.

But we can’t let them get away with it. Americans want an environment where they can spend time outdoors with family, where they can hunt, fish and farm without worrying about pollution in their food. They want clean energy – on the grid, lighting and heating their homes, and driving their cars. A cleaner grid is a more reliable grid.

We can keep the lights on, slash climate pollution and have clean energy on the grid, as long as we don’t let the big polluters win.
