Falls Church Residents Take Action on Climate Change

The Sierra Club and Environment Virginia teamed up to host a Climate Action Meeting on Monday, July 29th, in Falls Church, VA. Activists celebrated and discussed President Obama's recently announced climate change plan and talked about the benefits of the plan for Virginia's economy and public health. Participants also made phone calls to Senator Warner's office thanking him for voting to confirm Gina McCarthy and voicing their support for the EPA's carbon pollution rule, as well as signed the "I Will" petition postcards.
